key sensor features
Introducing our second generation digital SNMP & Modbus TCP sensor designed for monitoring 24x7 methane CH4 levels and detect leaks from lead acid and li-ion battery banks. For up to 100% LEL (lower explosive limit) or 5,000ppm CH4.

no pc required for the ServersCheck to operate once configured - measures hydrogen in the air between 0 to 100% LEL
- also sensitive to H2, propane and iso-butane
- resolution: 100ppm
- with a ± 5% accuracy.
- precision of 1%.
- maximum detection of 5,000 CH4 ppm (=100% LEL)
- lab calibrated against 50% reference gas either for H2 or CH4
- proven sensor component made in Japan

- sensors for 21 other gas types like CO, HF, NH3

- compact plug & play sensor.
- designed for indoor use.
- steel enclosure for non-power sensors or non-IP sensors. custom color & logo options available.
- industrial grade.
- 0u rack, DIN rail, magnetic or wall mountable sensor.
- plugs into the base unit.
- powered by the base unit.
- alerts via SNMP Traps, email or SMS.
- out of the box integration via Modbus TCP, SNMP.
- optional integration via MQTT for Industrial IoT applications1New feature.
- optional integration via RS-485 enabling direct integration with your own gateway & controllers.2New feature

1Requires FW 10 or higher
2Some sensors are not available in RS-485 native versions. In that case RS-485 is available using the optional Modbus RTU module.

modular architecture
hydrogen gas sensor architecture
A modular architecture enabling you to integrate it with your on-premises monitoring systems using IP based industrial protocols like Modbus TCP and SNMP. Optional add-on to connect sensor data to a Modbus RTU controller. With our optional and special firmware the base unit can connect to a MQTT provider of your choice.

With the output controls of the SensorHub, the system can on its own take corrective actions when too high hydrogen levels have been detected. For example you can start a fan as soon as hydrogen is detected and trigger a siren when a maximum limit has been exceeded.

lab & bump testing
Prior to shipping every CH4 sensor is manually tested in our lab against a 50% LEL CH4 gas.

For bump testing we offer the optional SPARE-GAS-BUMP-H2 adapter which is mounted on to the sensor. It enables you to self test the sensor at frequent intervals to ensure its operation within your own safety & operational requirements.
